18 years ago, while pregnant with my first child, I don't think I would have envisioned allowing this. But, somehow it is now acceptable to me for my 11 year old to shoot people in video games. You've probably all heard this from me, but my moment of surrender was when Kyle made a gun out of a piece of toast and shot his siblings. I could have banned toast from my home or chosen the path of least resistance and given in. And here is a moment which illustrates my choice...giving in!
