Last day of February Moment~~

The squirrel was taken by Zack.  See what happens when you don't bring in your chair pads over the winter???  Some industrious squirrel steals the fluff!  Zack kept trying to scare him away and he kept coming back.  It was funny : )

This next one is from my evening with Chris : )  My youngest really knows how to warm my heart and soul! I love spending time with him!!  We just did a bit of shopping this evening but it was so nice to relax and be with one I love!

Books! Moment~~
Our Medina Borders is closing : (  Nicole and I have spent hours and hundreds of dollars in this store so we are bummed!  I've been in a reading slump lately, nothing really catching my interest.  So I got 7 books (on clearance...woohoo!) and hopefully I'll be able to get lost in them!

Baby Blue Moment~~
This is another picture from Marietta. I chose to post it today because I love, love, love that you can see Kyle's little pie shaped blue iris which extends into his pupil...R eye...let me know if you can't find it :)  He was brand spanking new when I first noticed this and asked the Dr. about it. Its harmless, just sort of a birth mark.  I'm going to know if someone is really knowing and loving my son b/c they'll be looking deep into his eyes and will notice this beautiful "imperfection", just like I did! (spoken unapologetically like a true psycho-Mom)

Marietta Moment #2
Read yesterday to get the general idea :)  We tried to drive home monday evening but the weather wasn't cooperating. If Kyle ends up going to school there, he won't be coming home when it's snowing. Southern Ohio hasn't embraced the concept of plowing.
So, here's more of my Kyle!!

Marietta Moment~~
This next few days of pictures are a bit out of order but they're basically all of Kyle so it doesn't matter : )  It was raining so I didn't want to lug my camera around and risk it getting a chill! From these pics, you'll think all we did was lay on the bed in a hotel room!  But anyhoo, here's my Kyle!  I love him to pieces!

Ice and Snow Moment~~
No picture today! Our 1 day college visit is taking a bit longer due the weather.  We decided to play it safe and stay overnight before driving the rest of the way tomorrow.  Lots of bonding time with Kyle!!

Lots of errands and shopping to get done today but took a few moments out of the day to enjoy the ice festival! I always love this store front with the wedding dressings displayed!

Homework Moment~~
Remember "back in the day" when we did homework without miniature computers in our hands?  Here's my Kyle conquering some of that pesky Senioritis and getting some homework done!  I couldn't make this one black and white b/c I love the colors in the quilt.  Kyle's Grandma Machovina left us with such an amazing legacy...smart woman too...everytime we snuggle underneath one of her quilts, we can't help but think of her :)

Chris has indoor baseball practice at this really old building in Wadsworth. I never noticed this huge old water tower that is on the same property until today.  I guess my eyes are beginning to see things in the world that I didn't notice before : )

Trying something a bit different with photography today.  And the Westside Market was a great place to blend into the background with my camera and take photographs!

Americana Moment~~
My challenge today was to take at least one picture at Zack's game that had nothing to do with the actual game.  I did  took a ton of pics of the actual game of course!  I love this picture b/c it's such a great "afternoon in America" example.  Boys playing in the stands, a basketball hoop, and an American flag...and it met my creativity challenge of having nothing to do with the game : )

Kyle Moment~~

Kyle made it through the whole day of school today and I made it through most of work.  It seems we're over the worst of this illness.  We got to spend a lot of time together on either end of the couch watching ghost story shows! I missed having him here today!

My picture today is from when Kyle was in Kindergarten. When he brought this home, I taped it up on our kitchen cabinet and it has stayed there for 12 years. As you can see, things have been splattered on it, the color is fading, but how can I possible take it down???

My firstborn is an amazing person!! I love you Kyle!!!!
